The south coast of NSW plays host to some of Australias most famous surf breaks and iconic landscapes. Over Australias ‘Black Summer’ Bush fires, we tragically saw homes, land and properties lost as Australia burnt, leaving communities struggling to get by. The world came together to help out, which was incredible to see, but Alex Hayes, Cooper Chapman, Tyler Hanley, Ned Simes and Trystin Sinnott saw an opportunity to provide help by exploring the coast themselves, helping first hand by supporting the local businesses and capturing content of the incredible coastline to hopefully help boost the tourism industry in the area. With tourism and current capacity of holiday destinations sitting well below normal summer capacity, the boys packed themselves into a 20 foot RV and set off into complete isolation on the South Coast with the main purpose to give back and show off what the incredible landscape has to offer. Of course we at SODA wanted to get involved in such an incredible cause and went along for the ride with them!
